Freedom Farm Sanctuary is a first-of-its-kind educational center and animal sanctuary. Our mission is to rescue animals from the food industry and create a space where humans and animals can connect and understand each other. We believe that knowledge is power, and so our work extends beyond saving lives - we strive to inspire change through education. Out of sight is out of mind - only by keeping these animals in sight can we keep them in people's minds, thus fostering true change. By offering visitors meaningful exposure to rescued animals, we encourage sensitivity toward all living beings, both human and animal alike. We provide a unique opportunity for people to meet these animals in their natural, happy and healthy state, opening hearts and minds to a more compassionate way of life. Everyone has the right to live in harmony, peace, and with kindness, and at Freedom Farm Sanctuary, we are committed to making that vision a reality. Our Founders: Adit Romano is a married mother of three. She has been a marketing and business entrepreneur for 20 years. During this time, Adit was committed to a holistic lifestyle and her growing awareness of animal welfare issues led her to an understanding that the only way to make a difference is through education. Founding Freedom Farm Sanctuary was a natural step for Adit. Meital Ben Ari has a professional background in business and management in technology companies. Throughout her life caring for animals has been a constant passion for her. Previously she was a leader at an Israeli vegan non-profit organization. Freedom Farm Sanctuary is a fulfillment of Meital’s vision and quest to protect animals and educate people about farm animal welfare.
