Ncco Michele Young Ncro

Michele Young, NCCO, NCRO has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Michele began their career as a Credit and Collections Officer at Kimmel Tire in 1991. Michele then joined SECU in 1993 as a Collections/Recovery professional and remained there until 2000. In 2003, Michele joined APGFCU as an Accounts Control Supervisor until 2005. Following this, they worked at Freedom Federal Credit Union, starting as a Collections Manager from 2005 to 2007. Michele then transitioned to a role as SVP Risk Management, responsible for overseeing compliance and risk management functions until 2015. Since May 2015, Michele has served as the Chief Operating Officer at Freedom Federal Credit Union, where they are responsible for overseeing various departments and playing a key role in strategic planning.

Michele Young pursued their higher education from 1988 to 1992 at Towson State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies. Additionally, they have received a certification as a Digital Payments Catalyst from Visa in June 2022.
