Claudia Badulescu

Claudia Badulescu is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for European Studies at ULB, involved in the RED-SPINEL project, and affiliated with the Centre d'étude de la vie politique. Claudia serves as a Country Expert for Romania with Freedom House, evaluating democracy-related developments. Previously, Claudia was a PhD Candidate at the European University Institute, focusing on European Commission interactions with post-communist administrations. Claudia has held various research roles, including projects on political conflict, EU integration, and policy responses to the refugee crisis. Claudia's academic background includes a PhD and Master of Research from the European University Institute, alongside degrees in European studies and business administration from other renowned institutions.
