Derrick Vick (ESOP)

Derrick Vick, MBA (ESOP), has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Derrick began their career at Siemens Energy in 2006, where they held the roles of Financial Analyst and Sr. Financial Analyst. During their time at Siemens Energy, Derrick played a key role in managing income statements, forecasts, budgets, and balance sheets. Derrick also led the implementation of a SAP Project, contributed to month-end closings, and acted as the Sarbanes-Oxley Division Coordinator. Derrick's analytical skills and contributions to process restructuring improved organizational work structures and fostered collaboration within the division.

In 2009, Derrick joined Freedom Industries Inc., initially as a Controller. Derrick built a formalized accounting department from scratch and effectively managed income statements, forecasts, budgets, and cash flow. Derrick'smultitasking abilities and adherence to targets and deadlines ensured successful management of large projects. In 2011, Derrick was promoted to Vice President & CFO, where they continued to excel in financial management and oversaw the accounting department. Derrick introduced a customized strategic planning dashboard and played a crucial role in driving the company's financial success.

Recently, Derrick Vick assumed the role of President at Freedom Industries Inc., starting in January 2021. As President, they are responsible for leading the company and applying their extensive financial expertise to drive growth and profitability.

Derrick Vick, MBA (ESOP), completed their education from 2002 to 2007 at North Carolina State University. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Finance with a focus on Accounting and Leadership.
