Carey Jewell

Carey Jewell has over 20 years of experience in accounting and finance. Starting in 1987, Jewell served as a Junior Accountant for Better Apartment Living Corp. In 1995, Jewell became a Full Charge Bookkeeper for Pacific Soils Engineering, Inc. Two years later, Jewell was an Assistant to Plant Controller for Calmar Industries Ltd. In 1999, Jewell was a Staff Accountant and Accounts Payable Manager for Airgas Rutland Tool. Jewell then became a Full Charge Bookkeeper for M. F. Salta Company, Inc. in 1997. Most recently, Jewell has been an Accounting Manager for Sunrise Growers, Inc., A SunOpta Company since 2005. Jewell currently holds this position and is responsible for overseeing two functions and two direct reports encompassing General Accounting and Accounts Receivable, as well as managing a 4 day month-end close process across Finance, Operations & Customer Service.
