Mark Phillips has over 20 years of experience in customer service and management within the mortgage industry. Currently, as Director of Correspondence & Research and Director of Customer Engagement at Freedom Mortgage since January 2016, Mark oversees a team of Customer Care Supervisors and Engagement Representatives, conducts team meetings, validates loan data, and monitors quality assurance for calls. Prior experience includes serving as Client Relationship Manager and Manager of Customer Research at Carrington Holding Company, where Mark developed reporting structures, managed customer contact, and ensured regulatory compliance. Additionally, Mark held multiple roles at New Century Mortgage, progressing from Customer Service Call Center Representative to Supervisor, where responsibilities included team training, monitoring schedules, and processing customer inquiries. Mark studied at Fullerton College from 1996 to 1998.
