Touko Tahkokallio

Touko Tahkokallio has been working in the gaming industry since 2006. Touko started their career as a PhD. Student in Theoretical Physics at the University of Helsinki. In 2008, they moved to the University of Victoria as a Postdoctoral Researcher. In 2011, they joined Supercell as a Game Designer and Game Lead. In 2017, they co-founded Freeed. Currently, they are the Chief Creative Officer at Stellar Core Games. Additionally, they have also been a freelance board game designer since 2009 and has published several board games such as Eclipse: Second Dawn for the Galaxy, Mauna Kea, Yhtä Juhlaa, Ship Pack #1 for Eclipse, Enigma, Eclipse: Rise of the Ancients, Hunraårigen, and Planeetta Terra.

Touko Tahkokallio received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Theoretical Particle Physics from the University of Helsinki between 2006 and 2008. Touko received their Master of Science in Theoretical Physics from the University of Helsinki between 2001 and 2005. Touko also graduated from Tapiolan Lukio in 2000 with a Ylioppilas degree.
