Rueben Mendelsberg

Rueben Mendelsberg has a diverse work experience starting with their current position as a Staff Engineer at Freeform since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Engineer at Freeform from January 2020 to October 2022. Before joining Freeform, Rueben held various roles at Velo3D, starting as a Sr. Technologist from August 2015 to December 2017, and then as a Core Technology Engineer from December 2017 to October 2018. Rueben also worked as a Development Engineer at First Solar from February 2013 to August 2015. Rueben gained research experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Argonne National Laboratory from April 2012 to February 2013, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory from March 2010 to April 2012, and the University of Canterbury from July 2009 to February 2010. Additionally, they completed an internship as a Student Intern at IBM from August 2008 to November 2008.

Rueben Mendelsberg obtained their High School Diploma from Thomas Jefferson High School between 1998 and 2001. Rueben then pursued their undergraduate education at the University of Canterbury, earning a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Physics from 2002 to 2006. Rueben continued their academic journey at the University of Canterbury, completing their Ph.D. in Physics from 2006 to 2009.
