Zizi Bandera holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Mills College and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business from the University of California, Riverside. Currently serving as Operations Manager at FreeFrom since May 2022, Zizi previously worked as a Staff Analyst at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, where efforts focused on community engagement in substance use disorder prevention. Zizi's experience also includes program management at Equality California, leading LGBTQ+ diversity initiatives and COVID-19 response programs, as well as community engagement coordination at the Immigration Advocates Network, emphasizing immigrant rights. Additional roles include contributions as a Public Policy Fellow at the San Francisco Office of Transgender Initiatives and Civic Engagement Outreach Coordinator at CHIRLA, fostering civic engagement and coalition building. Early career positions include internships with the ACLU of Southern California and Equality California, enhancing communication strategies and donor relations.
