Laurent Goudet

Laurent Goudet has a diverse work experience spanning over 12 years. Laurent started their career as a Hardware & Embedded Software Intern at ALCIOM, where they designed and developed the PowerSpy, an energy analyzer. After that, they interned at Thales Communications as an Embedded Software Engineer, where they explored emerging trends and built technology demonstrators. Later, they joined SAGEMCOM as an Embedded Software Engineer, where they focused on porting the digital television middleware to set-top box hardware and optimizing performance.

Laurent then worked at Freelancer.com, first as a Software Engineer Tech Lead, responsible for driving the platform architecture and performance reviews. Laurent later became a Software Architect and currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Freelancer.com, overseeing the company's global operations and strategy.

Laurent Goudet holds a Master's degree in Embedded Systems Engineering from ESIEE Paris, which they obtained between 2006 and 2011. Laurent also participated in a Senior Year Foreign Exchange Program in Computer Software Engineering at Harvey Mudd College from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science at Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée from 2008 to 2009.
