Gaspar Santos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community engagement and sustainable development. Currently serving as a Community Initiative Specialist at the Free Library of Philadelphia since January 2018, Santos focuses on fostering relationships between library branches and local communities to create impactful programs. Prior to this role, Santos operated as a consultant from September 2015 to February 2017, where the emphasis was on developing Community Social Responsibility strategies. Santos's earlier career at BP Angola spanned over a decade in various positions, including Sustainable Development Manager, where responsibilities included enhancing local capabilities and supporting economic diversity initiatives. Santos holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, earned between 1989 and 1992.
