Johan Vallstrand

Johan Vallstrand has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Johan started their career as a Project Manager at KTH, managing the OSIA Portal Project from September 2008 to January 2009. Following this, Johan worked at Vattenfall, where they conducted their Master Thesis on usability requirement engineering for administrative IT systems from January 2009 to June 2009.

In 2009, Johan founded Adaptive Media, initially serving as Founder & CFO until March 2011 and later becoming the CEO. Johan played a crucial role in the company's development and growth. Simultaneously, Johan also worked as a Web consultant at Lars Bengtsson Ljud/Video AB from July 2009 to November 2009, leading the project management and development of their new company website. Johan also worked as a Salesperson at the same company from June 2001 to October 2009, where they excelled in selling consumer electronics and providing expert advice to customers.

Johan's entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found Rabble Communications AB in May 2010, where they served as a Partner until May 2012. In 2015, they became a Board Member & CTO at Freelway AB, an appointment they still hold. Similarly, since April 2019, Johan has been serving as a Board Member & CTO at SeaCloud AB.

Prior to these roles, Johan worked as a Web architect at Studio Christer Vallstrand AB from January 1999 to October 2009. Johan was responsible for maintaining and structuring the company's public web page, incorporating various technologies such as XML, PHP, HTML, CSS, Flash, MySQL, and JavaScript.

Johan Vallstrand completed their Masters degree in Media Technology & Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, studying from 2004 to 2009. Additionally, in 2006 and 2007, they attended Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina 'Santa María de los Buenos Aires' where they studied Spanish, Network engineering, and Project Management, although the degree name is not specified.
