Donna Caldwell-Chaffin

Donna Caldwell-Chaffin, RHIA, CCS, has extensive experience in health information management, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Medical Records at Freeman Health System since December 2001. In this role, Donna oversees the Coding and Clinical Documentation Improvement staff within a comprehensive 460-bed, three-hospital system that caters to a diverse range of specialties with over 350 physicians. Prior to this, Donna held the position of Director of Medical Records at White River Health Systems, where responsibilities included directing Health Information Management and serving on multiple compliance and information systems committees. Earlier in the career, Donna worked as Operations Manager at Lake Regional Health System. Donna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management from Arkansas Tech University, earned between 1993 and 1995.
