Richard P. Prestegaard joined Freeman Spogli in 2021 as Head of Business Development. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Prestegaard spent thirteen years as Head of Business Development at High Road Capital Partners. From 1998 to 2007 Mr. Prestegaard worked as an investment banker in the Consumer & Retail coverage groups of Advest, Inc., Citigroup and Barclays Investment Bank. Mr. Prestegaard received his bachelor’s degree in sociology from The College of the Holy Cross in 1991 and earned his master’s degree in finance and accounting from New York University in 1996.
