Matt Olson

VP of Acquisitions & Asset Management at Freeman Webb Company

Matt Olson is the Vice President of Acquisitions and Asset Management at Freeman Webb. Mr. Olson began his career with Ernst & Young's real estate consulting practice in New York; assisting clients with buy-side and sell-side due diligence, portfolio transactions, real estate valuations, and strategic loan workouts. During his tenure at EY, he assisted in drafting the training manual for Fannie Mae's Multifamily DUS loan underwriting program, underwriting more than $3 billion of CMBS loans, and worked with clients to divest more than $2.5 billion in commercial real estate and loans during the recession.

Matt currently serves on the Statistic Committee for the Greater Nashville Apartment Association and the Young Leaders Group Mentor Committee for the Nashville Chapter of Urban Land Institute. He is a prior member of the Mortgage Bankers Association and Commercial Real Finance Committee. Matt graduated with dual majors in Real Estate & Urban Land Economics and Finance, Investment & Banking from the University of Wisconsin.
