Joab Vera

Joab Vera has extensive experience in the event management industry, currently serving as Vice President at Freeman Company since 1996, where roles have included Regional General Manager and National Director of Show Site Labor. Joab has overseen the management and development of over 40 employees and has been responsible for P&L management. Notably, Joab opened a divisional branch in Anaheim, California, and implemented operational systems. Previous positions include Warehouse Manager, where inventory control and relationship management were key responsibilities, and Inventory Control Specialist in Austin, focusing on budgeting and audits. Additionally, Joab served as Director of Audio Visual Services at Radisson and Driskill Hotel, representing Freeman to key stakeholders. Joab also held the role of Executive Vice President at NSHMBA from 2012 to 2014 and holds an MBA from the University of Houston and a BA in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin.
