John Land

John Land has extensive experience in operations management within the convention and tradeshow industry. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Operations and Manager of Operations at Freeman Company since December 2017, John has successfully managed a team of seven operations supervisors, improving year-over-year job costs while consistently meeting deadlines. Prior experience includes roles such as Production/Operations Supervisor at Brede/Allied Convention Services and President of Ironland, Inc., where equipment was provided to athletes. John has also held supervisory positions at UCF Arena, where management of event staff was essential, and at DesignShop Group of Companies overseeing large tradeshow productions. Educational achievements include course certificates in Construction Project Management from Columbia University and Hospitality and Tourism Management from Florida Atlantic University.
