Megan Finnell, CMP, is a seasoned leader in event strategy and management, currently serving as Senior Director of Strategy & Insights at Freeman Company since March 2024, where Megan advises clients on engagement, growth, and organizational transformation. As the Founder and Chief Strategist at Blue Day Strategies since January 2024, Megan provides event consulting services to drive business and brand growth. Previously, Megan held various leadership roles, including Associate Vice President of Conferences at Simpler Media Group, Inc., and Director of Meetings & Conferences at MGMA, where responsibilities included overseeing strategic event design and execution. Megan's extensive experience in meeting management began at Applied Measurement Professionals, where project management and budget oversight were key functions. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Texas Christian University and a certificate from the American Institute for Musical Studies in Graz, Austria.
