Martin Granlund

Martin Granlund has over two decades of experience in the financial industry. Martin currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Freemelt AB since March 2023. Prior to this, they were a Co-founder and Chairman at PASQ AB starting from December 2018. Martin also worked at Riksgälden as a Senior Analyst, Resolution Authority from November 2018 to February 2023, where they specialized in resolution planning and policy, focusing on operational continuity and financial market infrastructures. Martin also worked as a Seconded National Expert at the Single Resolution Board from September 2020 to June 2021.

Before these roles, Martin held various positions at TOM (The Order Machine) as the CFO from February 2013 to December 2017. Martin was responsible for finance, strategy, business development, and sales, and also served on the Risk Committee of ICE Clear Netherlands and the EuroCCP Platform Advisory Council. Earlier in their career, they worked at NASDAQ OMX, where they started as a Senior Managing Director from February 2007 to January 2011 and later became a Vice President from January 2011 to February 2013.

Martin's career began at SEB, where they worked as an Account Manager in Securities Services from January 1999 to June 2000. Martin then became a Private Banking - Asset Manager and Broker from June 2000 to February 2007, responsible for retail brokerage and account management for trust accounts.

Martin Granlund completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Economics from the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg from 1994 to 1999. In 2006, they attended Uppsala University for an unspecified program in Business. Martin also attended the Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education in 2005, where they studied business analysis and business valuation. In 1998, Martin briefly studied Applied Philosophy at Stockholm University. Their education journey continued in 2018 at Södertörn University, where they pursued studies in Business, which is ongoing as the end year is not provided.
