Jamie Neubert Pedersen

Jamie Neubert Pedersen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Currently, Jamie works as a Full Stack Engineer at Pensure, where they are responsible for developing critical services in the financial sector, both for B2B and B2C clients. Their role involves individual contributor work, product development, project management, team leadership, and necessary tasks in an early-stage startup.

Prior to this, Jamie worked as the CTO and technical co-founder of Freemi, a platform that grew to 250,000 users. They were responsible for designing and architecting the platform.

Jamie also worked as a Software Developer at ta' det, where they were involved in architecting the system, developing the platform, and making UX and design decisions. They utilized modern technologies like AWS and Firebase to ensure scalability.

They gained experience as a Student Programmer at Intelligent Banker ApS, where they were responsible for transitioning the platform from a standard LAMP stack to a serverless solution based on AWS Lambda functions and Vue.js. This resulted in cost reduction and improved webpage loading time.

Additionally, Jamie worked as an Intern at BestBrains, where they focused on test automation and creating build environments for CI/CD using agile methodologies like Scrum, Lean, and Kanban.

Jamie also contributed to the Technical University of Denmark as a Teaching Assistant and Student Helper, where they worked on creating web services for handling large data uploads of genome sequences and implementing quality control tasks. They utilized Linux and genomic sequence algorithms to create pipelines that provided automated feedback to clinics.

Lastly, Jamie worked as a Student Helper at Haldor Topsøe A/S.

Jamie Neubert Pedersen began their education journey at HTX Sukkertoppen in 2008, where they studied science as a student until 2011. They then went on to attend DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Software Engineering from 2011 to 2015. Continuing their education at DTU, Jamie Neubert Pedersen completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Digital Media Engineering from 2016 to 2018.
