Dan Klass

Dan Klass is a seasoned professional in the field of biochemistry and molecular diagnostics, currently serving as the Senior Director of Emerging Technologies at Freenome since September 2023. Prior to this role, Dan held various leadership positions at Roche from April 2015 to October 2023, including Director of Research & Early Development for Sequencing Workflows, Applications, & Assays, where Dan led a team focused on designing and optimizing sequencing assays and applications. Additional roles at Roche encompassed responsibilities in oncology assay development, managing teams dedicated to developing innovative testing methodologies. Dan's early career included significant contributions at Stanford University School of Medicine as a Postdoctoral Scholar, where research efforts centered around creating highly sensitive blood tests for cancer detection, and CAPP Medical, where leadership was provided in research and development.
