Zhongyue Luan

Zhongyue Luan is a highly experienced researcher and scientist specializing in materials science, biomarker isolation, and process development. Currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist I at Freenome, Zhongyue leads efforts in pre-analytical innovation, optimizing blood sample processing for multi-omics research. Prior experience includes roles at Seer, where strategic process developments for nanoparticle applications were key, and positions at Irvine Materials Research Institute and the Chemistry at the Space-Time Limit, focusing on materials characterization and nanomaterial synthesis. Zhongyue holds a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from UC Irvine, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Materials Chemistry from China University of Geosciences (Beijing).
