Dilini Fernando has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2003, they started their career as a Digital Marketing Associate at Euro RSCG. Dilini then went on to work as an On-Air Host at Coast 93.3 WSNE and WBMX Mix 98.5 from 2004 to 2009. During the same period, they co-founded and served as the General Manager of BandStandlive, Inc. Records. In 2007, they became the Co-Founder and President of BandStandLive, Inc. Dilini later joined MillerCoors in 2010 as an MBA Brand Management Intern for Miller High Life. Dilini held multiple roles within MillerCoors, including Associate Brand Manager for Miller Lite and Manager of Digital Innovation. From 2011 to 2019, Dilini worked in various marketing positions at MillerCoors. In 2019, they transitioned to Molson Coors Beverage Company as the Chief of Staff to the CMO. In 2020, they joined Freeosk as the Vice President of Marketing. Currently, Dilini is a member of CHIEF, a private network focused on empowering senior women leaders.
Dilini Fernando completed their MBA in Marketing, Strategic Management, and Entrepreneurship from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained their AB degree in Public & Private Sector Organizations from Brown University, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. In 1996, they attended the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy. Dilini Fernando also obtained a certification in "Insights for Innovation: IDEO's Approach to Gathering Human-Centered Insights That Fuel Innovation" from IDEO U in February 2017.
