Jose F. Ballestas

Jose F. Ballestas is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in design, engineering, and business management. Currently serving as Head of Design Tools and Head of the Mockups product line at Freepik since June 2023, Jose leads the creation of innovative web-based mockup editing solutions. Prior to this, Jose held various significant positions, including Senior Product Designer at Scandiacus LLC, where the focus was on developing the Kocho app, and Product Designer at Nauphilus, contributing to AI-driven products for HR. As the founder of Felice Pasta and Grupo A&H Ballestas, Jose demonstrated entrepreneurial skills in the food industry and private bus maintenance. Academic qualifications include specialized training in AI product management and UX design from Duke University and Google, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica de Bolívar.
