Eileen Merrigan

Eileen Merrigan is a compliance expert currently serving as the Head of Americas Compliance at Freepoint Commodities since September 2023. Prior to this role, Eileen held positions at CIBC as Executive Director of Compliance from June 2021 to August 2023, and at Hartree Partners where Eileen was Senior Manager of Compliance Controls from January 2015 to July 2021. Eileen has extensive experience in coordinating compliance with international commodity derivative regulations, including EMIR, Dodd Frank, and REMIT, and has managed regulatory responses for various agencies. Previous roles include Compliance Manager for Hess Corporation and Manager of Quantitative Analysis for IntercontinentalExchange, Inc. Eileen holds a Master of Science in Geography and Environmental Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hamilton College.
