Deirdre Mccaffrey

Deirdre McCaffrey has over 25 years of experience in the energy industry, with a focus on natural gas storage and investment management. Deirdre is currently the Director of Asset Development at Freepoint Eco-Systems. Previously, they were a Founding Partner at Southport Midstream Partners for nine years. Prior to that, they were a Managing Director at NGS Energy LP, where they led the development and operation of natural gas storage projects and successfully divested one of them for $725 million. Deirdre also served as Managing Director at Constellation Energy, leading an acquisition team that built a portfolio of oil and gas properties valued at over $1 billion. Earlier in their career, they worked at Enron, where they developed risk management products and traded in the energy markets.

Deirdre McCaffrey earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from Boston College in 1993. Deirdre later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, graduating in 1997.
