Andrea Vaccari

Andrea Vaccari is a seasoned professional in sustainability and responsible production, currently serving as Vice President for Responsible Production Frameworks & Sustainability at Freeport-McMoRan since April 2019. In this role, Andrea leads a global team focused on climate change, human rights, and sustainability assurance while collaborating with stakeholders across the copper value chain. Previously, Andrea held various leadership roles within Freeport-McMoRan and the International Copper Association, including Director of Responsible Production Frameworks & Sustainability and Health, Environment & Sustainable Development. With extensive experience in quality management and project consulting, Andrea has contributed to numerous initiatives in sustainability and environmental management since beginning a career in this field in 1999. Andrea holds two Bachelor of Environmental Studies degrees from the University of Waterloo.
