Bakhtiar Pourahmad P.eng

Bakhtiar Pourahmad P.Eng, PMP, currently serves as the Chief Process Automation Engineer at Freeport-McMoRan since July 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Control and Automation Engineer at Rio Tinto from November 2017 to July 2021, and a Senior Automation Engineer at Wood in early 2017. Bakhtiar has also held positions as a Project Manager at Zedi from September 2014 to June 2016, and as an Electrical and Automation Engineer/Team Lead at Kermantablo co from January 2004 to June 2014. Earlier in career, Bakhtiar worked as an Instrumentation and Control Engineer at KTC-ABB from September 2000 to February 2004. Bakhtiar holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Sahand University of Technology and a Master's degree in Electrical Control Engineering from TAU.
