Cassandra Hall PGeo, PEng, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in geological engineering and environmental management. Currently, as Manager of Tailings, Crushed Leach and Water at Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. since June 2012, Cassandra oversees the tailings stewardship program across North and South American properties, including inactive sites. Cassandra previously worked as a Consulting Geological Engineer at Brodie Consulting, focusing on mine reclamation and tailings management in northern Canada. Prior roles include serving as Director of Communications and Community Relations at the Association for Mineral Exploration BC, and holding geoscientist positions at Klohn Crippen Berger, Terracon Geotechnique Ltd., Knight Piesold, and North American Metals Corp. Cassandra holds a geology degree from Western University and completed further education at The University of British Columbia.
