Garrett Anderson

Garrett Anderson is an experienced Underground Mine Engineer currently employed at Freeport-McMoRan since May 2018, focusing on supporting large block cave mines in Papua, Indonesia. Prior roles include various engineering positions, such as Mine Engineer and Innovation Engineer, along with an internship as a Geomechanical Engineer. Earlier experience encompasses a Field Engineer Intern role at Sundt Construction, where responsibilities included cost control and scheduling, a Traffic Engineering Intern position at Pima County Department of Transportation involving traffic management studies, and serving as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant in mathematics at the University of Arizona. Garrett holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the University of Arizona, earned in 2018.
