Georgia Lysay

Georgia Lysay is an experienced professional in the field of civil engineering with a focus on tailings and water management. Currently serving as the Director of Tailings & Water at Freeport-McMoRan since September 2011, Georgia previously held the position of Manager of Tailings and Water Projects. Prior experience includes serving as Tailings and Environment Coordinator at Kemess Mines Ltd. from February 2006 to July 2011, as well as working as a Project Engineer at Klohn Crippen Berger from 2002 to 2006 and at Buckland & Taylor from December 1999 to April 2002. Georgia holds a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from The University of British Columbia (1997-1999) and a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan (1993-1997).
