Guang Yeung

Guang Yeung is an experienced metallurgist currently serving as the Chief Metallurgist at Freeport-McMoRan since March 2022. Prior to this role, Guang held the position of Senior Metallurgist at Climax Molybdenum from October 2017 to February 2022. Guang's extensive career at Freeport-McMoRan began in June 2012 and included roles such as Metallurgist II, Operations Supervisor, Metallurgist I, and Process Engineer I. Guang holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, obtained between 2007 and 2011.
