Jodi Black

Jodi Black has extensive experience in health and safety management, currently serving as the Manager of Health and Safety at Freeport-McMoRan since June 2005, following a role as Senior Health and Safety Specialist. Prior to this, Jodi held the position of Senior Risk Control Representative at St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance from June 1996 to February 2003, focusing on risk control for large commercial and industrial construction accounts and overseeing contractors at various mining sites. Earlier experience includes serving as an Industrial Hygiene Technician at Phelps Dodge Mining from January 1994 to May 1996, where responsibilities included industrial hygiene sampling, testing, and report writing to promote continuous improvements in mining and processing operations. Jodi holds a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Psychology from New Mexico State University.
