Rambabu Yarramsetti

Rambabu Yarramsetti is an accomplished chemist with over 25 years of extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as Chief Chemist at Freeport-McMoRan since August 2017, Rambabu leads technical initiatives in instrumentation, manual digestion, solvent extraction (SX), and concentration while ensuring high-quality results. In previous roles, including Senior Chemist at Freeport-McMoRan and Precious Metal Laboratory Manager at David H. Fell & Company, Inc., Rambabu drove significant process improvements and research in challenging refinings. Rambabu also gained valuable experience as a Lab Officer at Vedanta Resources Limited, where quality control measures were implemented to enhance operational efficiency. Rambabu holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from Acharya Nagarjuna University and is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry through WES.
