Maurice Davis

Maurice Davis has extensive work experience in the education sector. Maurice currently serves as the Assistant Director of Interventions and Inclusion at the Freeport School District 145. Prior to this role, they worked at RPS 205, where they held various positions including Executive Director of Schools, Middle School Principal, Elementary School Principal, Assistant Principal of Social Studies, and Assistant Middle School Principal. Before joining RPS 205, Maurice worked as a History Teacher at RPS 205 and as a Social Studies Teacher at the Chicago Public Schools.

Maurice Davis' education history begins with their Bachelor of Arts in History, which they obtained from Northern Illinois University between 1999 and 2004. Maurice then pursued a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General, at Grand Canyon University from 2008 to 2010. In 2019, Maurice furthered their education by undertaking a Master of Education (MEd) in Superintendency and Educational System Administration at Northern Illinois University, which they completed in 2021.
