Ben Hawkins

Sr. GIS Analyst at Freese And Nichols, Inc.

Ben Hawkins has a diverse work experience in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Ben started their career as a GIS Intern at the City of Grapevine in 2012. Later, they joined the University of Texas at Dallas as a Research Assistant, where they focused on importing CAD files into ArcMap to create shapefiles and performed extensive editing and attribute creation. In 2013, Ben joined Freese and Nichols as a GIS Intern before being promoted to the position of GIS Analyst III.

Ben Hawkins has a bachelor's degree in Anthropology, which they obtained from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from The University of Texas at Dallas between 2010 and 2012.
