Dan Koss

Dan Koss began their work experience in 2005 at Freese and Nichols. Dan held various roles including Project Manager, Electrical Engineer, Lighting Designer, P.E., and LC. Their tenure at Freese and Nichols lasted for an unspecified duration. In 2012, Dan joined the Tarrant County Maker Community Foundation as the Director and Head of the Education Committee. Dan served in this role from December 2012 to April 2014.

Dan Koss has a strong educational background in electrical engineering. Dan obtained their MSEE degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they earned their BSEE degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Tyler, where they studied from 2001 to 2005.

In addition to their degrees, Dan also holds several certifications which further enhance their expertise. In December 2011, they obtained a professional engineer (P.E.) certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers. Furthermore, in January 2011, they earned the Lighting Certified designation from the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions (NCQLP).

With their strong educational foundation in electrical engineering and additional certifications, Dan Koss possesses the knowledge and qualifications necessary to excel in their field.
