Darryl Block

Darryl Block has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Darryl started their career as a Summer Intern at the Texas Department of Transportation in 2013. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Rentech Boiler Systems, gaining experience in mechanical design and structural steel. In 2020, they transitioned to the role of Assistant Project Manager at MICA Corporation, where they coordinated crew schedules, evaluated strengths to maximize productivity, and managed material purchases for construction goals. In 2022, they worked as an Assistant Project Manager at Way Mechanical and is currently employed as an Engineer I at Freese and Nichols.

Darryl Block pursued their education in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Darryl attended North Central Texas College from 2013 to 2014, focusing on Mechanical Engineering. Darryl then transferred to Texas Tech University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2014 to 2017.
