Ishita Rahman Pe

Ishita Rahman, PE has a diverse range of work experience. Ishita started their career as a Junior Engineer at the Institute of Water Modelling from November 2009 to March 2011. Ishita then worked as a Graduate Research Student at the University of Waterloo from May 2011 to December 2013, where they focused on studying the effect of biofiltration pretreatment on ultrafiltration membrane fouling and the effect of phosphorus enhancement on biofilter performance. During their time at the University of Waterloo, they also took on roles as an AV Operator and Videographer and as a Course Assistant.

In 2015, Ishita joined Texas A&M University as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from September 2015 to May 2016. Ishita then moved on to Freese and Nichols, where they currently work as an Engineer starting in June 2016.

Ishita Rahman, PE has a strong educational background in engineering. Ishita completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) (Hons.) in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology from 2004 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master of Applied Science (MASc) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo from 2011 to 2013. Ishita further enhanced their expertise by obtaining a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Water Resources Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2015-2016.

In addition to their academic achievements, Ishita Rahman is also a Licensed Professional Engineer obtained from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers in June 2019.
