Melissa Kinzer

Melissa Kinzer has extensive work experience in various educational and scientific institutions. Melissa began their career as a Gallery Assistant at the Monning Meteorite Gallery at TCU in 2005 and worked there until 2007. In 2007, Melissa joined the Fort Worth Museum Science and History, where they held multiple roles including Floor Staff, Guest Experience Host, and Family Science Festival Facilitator, until 2009. Melissa then worked as an Overnight Counselor at the Fort Worth Zoo in 2009. Melissa went on to work at the Maryland Science Center as a Public Programmer and SpaceLink/TerraLink Presenter from 2010 to 2012. From 2012 to 2016, they held positions at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science, including Gallery Experience Presenter and Portable Universe Presenter/School Programs Educator. Lastly, Melissa is currently working as a GIS Analyst at Freese and Nichols, starting in 2016.
