Nathaniel Blanton

Nathaniel Blanton has a varied work experience. Nathaniel currently works as a Stormwater Engineer at Freese and Nichols since March 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Educational Chairman at Alpha Delta Chapter in the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity, where they oversaw academic programs and achieved the highest House Average GPA in 10 years. Nathaniel also gained experience as a Water Infrastructure Intern at Woodard & Curran in 2022. In 2021, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Missouri S&T Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering, and as a Grader at Missouri University of Science and Technology for Fluid Mechanics. Before that, they worked as a Host at 54th Street Restaurants and as a Delivery Runner at Hyvee Grocery. Their earliest work experience was as a Shift Manager at Yogurtini KC from 2016 to 2019.

Nathaniel Blanton completed their education in a chronological manner. From 2014 to 2018, they attended Winnetonka High School and obtained a College Readiness High School Diploma. Following this, they enrolled at Metropolitan Community College-Maple Woods in 2018 and finished in 2020, obtaining an Associate of Engineering degree with a focus on Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering. Continuing their education, Nathaniel pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering with a minor in Chemistry at Missouri University of Science and Technology from 2020 to 2022.

Additionally, Nathaniel holds certifications to supplement their education. In 2018, they obtained a Retail Food Handler certification from the City of Kansas City, Mo., Health Department. Furthermore, in 2022, they received an OSHA 10 Hour certification from the OSHA Safety Training Institute.
