Sherrie Hubble, GISP began their work experience in 2009 as a Planning Intern at the Urban Design Center, Institute of Urban Studies at UTA. During this role, they assisted staff at the City of Arlington with neighborhood and streetscape design and community planning projects. Sherrie also organized neighborhood meetings and surveys, encouraged citizen participation in neighborhood planning, and collected data and photography to assist in creating photomontages and graphics for proposed city design projects.
In 2010, Hubble joined Freese and Nichols as a Senior GIS Analyst, where they currently work. Additionally, in the same year, they worked as a Planning/GIS Contractor for the City of Kennedale from June to September.
Sherrie Hubble, GISP, obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Geography from the University of North Texas in the years 2000 to 2005. Later, they pursued further education and completed their Master of City and Regional Planning (MCRP) degree in the field of City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from The University of Texas at Arlington between the years 2007 and 2010.
In addition to their formal education, Sherrie Hubble attained several certifications. In June 2014, they obtained the Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) certification from the GIS Certification Institute. Furthermore, in June 2016, Sherrie acquired the ESRI ArcGIS Desktop Entry certification from Esri.
