Kate Osborne M.S., NBHWC has an extensive work experience in the health and wellness field. Kate began their career in 1999 as a Human Resources Manager at Axios Incorporated, where they coached and supervised over 250 associates and served as a liaison between the employees and all Arena clients during events. Kate also exceeded or met all annual budget projections by generating revenue and cutting expenses, as well as maintaining labor laws through risk management and safety.
In 2002, Kate moved to Yuma District One as a Physical Education Instructor, where they planned, organized, and implemented physical education curriculum for 600 children ages Kindergarten through 5th grade. Kate also organized, planned, and promoted local and district track meets for 15 schools in Yuma District One, and established an after school fitness program for staff members.
In 2004, Kate began working at Gadsden School District 32 as a Physical Education Instructor, where they planned, organized, and implemented physical education curriculum for 700 students ages Kindergarten through 6th grade. Kate also planned, organized, and implemented physical education curriculum for severely mentally and physically handicapped children, and implemented and delivered fitness and nutrition seminars for district staff members.
In 2007, Kate started working as a Professional Development Consultant, where they were responsible for ensuring proper implementation of Arizona State physical education standards using the Dr. Pangrazi method. Kate also developed and educated physical education instructors on program benchmarks and standards.
In 2012, Kate joined Marine Corps Community Services as an Alcohol Abuse Prevention Specialist. In this role, they independently planned and coordinated prevention events for the community, Active Duty personal, families, and civilians aboard MCAS Yuma. Kate also researched and conducted lectures and training on alcohol use and abuse to groups ranging in size from 5 to 300.
In 2015, Kate began working at Virgin Pulse as a Health and Wellness Team Manager. In 2017, they became a National Board Certified-Health and Wellness Coach at the International Consortium for Health & Wellness Coaching. In their role as a Senior Health and Wellness Coach at Virgin Pulse, they specialized in coaching individuals in their healthy lifestyle journey, taking a personal approach to wellness. Her specialty areas included tobacco cessation, substance abuse, fitness, nutrition, healthy pregnancy, and stress management.
In 2022, Kate started working at Freespira, Inc. as a Patient Operations Manager.
Kate Osborne M.S., NBHWC completed a Master of Science (M.S.) in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from PennWest California in 2017. Prior to that, they earned a B.S., Physical Education/Elementary Education from Grand Valley State University, with a field of study in Kinesiology and Exercise Science.
