Sean Carr

Sean Carr, CFA has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Sean is currently a Managing Director at Freestone Capital Management since January 2022. Prior to that, Sean held the role of Director at the same company from December 2019 to January 2022. Sean also served as a Senior Associate - Investments at Freestone Capital Management from November 2018 to December 2019. Sean began their career as an Associate at IngleSea Capital from March 2018 to November 2018. Before joining IngleSea Capital, they worked as an Associate - Investments at Freestone Capital Management from June 2015 to March 2018. Outside the finance industry, Sean has experience working as an Academic Tutor at A PLUS Youth Program from September 2014 to June 2015, and as a Growth and Strategy Intern at Avanade from June 2014 to June 2015. Sean also served as the Chapter President of Beta Theta Pi from January 2013 to January 2014. Sean gained experience as a Quality and Regulatory Engineering Intern at Philips from June 2013 to September 2013, and as an Operations Intern at Tax Credit Group of Marcus & Millichap from September 2012 to May 2013. In addition, they worked as a Marketing Intern at Nirvaha in June 2011 and as a Coach at Skyhawks Sports Academy in June 2010.

Sean Carr, CFA completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Washington from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to attending university, they attended Lakeside School from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Sean Carr has obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in November 2018.
