Virginia Leong

Virginia Leong has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Virginia started their career as a Senior Accountant at Walsh King, LLP in 2000 and worked there until 2004. Virginia then joined PwC as a Manager from 2004 to 2008. In 2009, they became the Controller at Benchmark Plus Management LLC, where they worked until 2014. From 2014 onwards, Virginia has been associated with Freestone Capital Management, initially serving as the Director of Corporate Accounting until 2022, and currently holding the position of Managing Director of Corporate Accounting.

Virginia Leong attended The University of British Columbia from 1997 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a specialization in Accounting. After completing their undergraduate studies, they obtained a Chartered Accountant (CA) certification from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in December 2003. In May 2005, they became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) through the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants.
