Leif Buschmann

Leif Buschmann is the Vice President of M&A at Freestone Insurance Group, where they lead the company's inorganic growth strategy and execution. They have extensive experience in corporate law, specializing in mergers and acquisitions and private equity, having served as an associate at Kirkland & Ellis and Massumi + Consoli LLP. Prior to their current role, Leif participated in Shore Capital Partners' JD to C-Suite program as VP of Business Development. Leif holds a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University School of Law and a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from The University of British Columbia. Earlier in their career, Leif worked as an Educator at lululemon athletica and as a Graduate Research Assistant at Northwestern University.
