Ben Middlekauff has a diverse work experience in the field of video production and editing. Ben is currently working as a Video Editor at Freethink since February 2022. Prior to this, Ben worked at West Elm as a Post Production Video Manager and Video Editor from April 2021 to February 2022, and as a Post Production Video Producer/Editor from November 2017 to April 2021. Ben also gained experience at AMC Networks as a Post Production Assistant Editor from January 2016 to March 2017. Ben has worked as a Video/Audio Editor at Rewire Me from July 2015 to December 2015, and as an Intern at Schrom & Co from January 2015 to August 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Freelance Filmmaker at The New York City Church of Christ from 2013 to 2015, where they served as a Director, Editor, and Cinematographer for various films. Ben also worked as a Technical Assistant at NYU Tisch School of the Arts from January 2014 to August 2014, providing editing support and managing audio equipment. Ben has worked as a Freelance Filmmaker at HOPE worldwide from April 2014 to May 2014, where they directed and edited a concept for a Hope Spark Academy PSA piece. Moreover, they have experience as a Summer Camp Counselor at Steve & Kate's from May 2013 to July 2013, where they were responsible for counseling, construction, and cleaning. Lastly, Ben worked as a Production Assistant at KTF Films, conducting research, fact-checking, and transcribing interviews from 2011 to 2012.
Ben Middlekauff attended San Francisco State University from 2012 to 2013, where they studied Cinematography and Film/Video Production. Ben then transferred to New York University and completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree at the Kanbar Institute of Film and Television from 2013 to 2016.
