Johana Hernandez

Johana Hernandez is a seasoned documentary editor at Freethink since July 2021, where powerful storytelling on science, innovation, and social impact is emphasized. As an independent video editor and colourist since June 2020, Johana has edited content for a variety of clients, including Yitty, Discovery+, and Corona Studios. Previous experience includes serving as a video editor at Beautiful Destinations from March 2018 to May 2020, creating diverse narrative video content for a global travel media brand. Johana began their career at DCF Advertising from 2012 to 2017 as a lead video editor, media manager, and Spanish language specialist, and briefly worked as a PA/AE at Warrior Poets in 2012, assisting in video projects for Yahoo! Screen. Johana holds a BS in Advertising Communications from St. John's University, earned in 2012.
