Walter Chang has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of video editing, cinematography, and filmmaking. Walter started their career as a Freelance Filmmaker and Grip/Electric in 2006, and worked as a Freelancer until 2016. In 2011, they founded their own company called "We Call This Home" and served as the Founder until 2016. Walter then joined House Tipster as a Video Editor and Cinematographer from May 2016 to July 2017. Walter Chang then worked at Culture Trip as a Video Editor and Cinematographer from December 2017 to February 2020, where they worked on branded and editorial videos for clients such as Chase, GoPro, and Cathay Pacific. Most recently, they joined Freethink in February 2020 as a Video Editor. Additionally, Walter Chang has experience in audiovisual coordination and production stage management, having worked at Columbia University in the City of New York as an Audio Visual Scheduling Coordinator and Production Stage Manager from September 2007 to September 2011.
Walter Chang completed their Bachelor's Degree in Film/Video Production from New York University between the years 2004 to 2008. Following this, they pursued further education and earned a Business Certificate from Columbia University in the field of Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services between 2009 to 2010.
