Elsa Mercer is currently serving as a Trainee Solicitor on commercial secondment at Mercedes-Benz in the UK since March 2025 and has been a Trainee Solicitor at Freeths since March 2022, completing various seats in Commercial Dispute Resolution, Corporate, and Planning & Environment. Prior to these roles, Elsa gained experience as a Civil Servant at the Department for Work and Pensions from April 2021 to March 2022, and as a Legal Intern at the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia and other organizations. Educational qualifications include an SQE 1 & 2 from The University of Law (2023-2025) and a Bachelor of Laws from The London School of Economics and Political Science (2016-2019).
